The Wilson Primary School

Wilson Values

Wilson provides a Values-based curriculum.

This means that we promote and teach a set of values to our pupils. These values guide our thinking and our behaviour so that we can develop fully as individuals.

We have a two year cycle where each month we focus on a different value, such as respect, co-operation, hope and responsibility. The new value for each month is introduced in assembly and then explored and discussed throughout the rest of the month through PSHE, Philosophy for Children and wider curriculum opportunities.

Most importantly, all the adults in the school ensure that they are role-models for each of the values.
