Berkshire Maestros

We are proud to work with Berkshire Maestros, the lead organisation of the Berkshire Music Hub, to provide exciting music opportunities for our children.

What we offer through Berkshire Maestros:

  • Weekly music sessions for our resource base children
These sessions use music and sound as a starting point, focusing on communication—both musically and socially. Through a student-led approach, children explore rhythm, singing, and call-and-response, building confidence and creativity.

  • Whole-class instrumental project for Year 5
Through the In2Music project, every Year 5 child experiences the joy of learning a musical instrument. This year, pupils are learning the violin, developing skills and a love for music.

  • Live music experiences
Berkshire Maestros deliver one-off interactive performances drawn from different musical traditions and great composers. These 40-minute sessions inspire children and encourage them to take up an instrument.

We believe music plays a vital role in children’s development—helping them build confidence, self-esteem, and a lifelong love of music.
